With support from The Royal Foundation, Samaritans, Mind, Shout and Hospice UK recently launched Our Frontline to provide round the clock support to key workers during the coronavirus pandemic. Key workers can call or text a trained volunteer and access specially developed online resources, toolkits and advice to support their mental health and emotional wellbeing through this challenging time.
On Tuesday 5th May, Our Frontline launched an ad campaign which aims to reach NHS workers, carers, Blue Light emergency services workers and key workers whose mental health may be under more pressure than ever before and make them aware of the services that are available.
Tour de France winner Geraint Thomas, Radio 1 DJ and ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ contestant Adele Roberts and spoken-word poet and mental health campaigner Hussain Manawer have provided the voiceover for the campaign and Duran Duran have provided their 1993 track Ordinary World as the backing track for the advert.
The advert premiered on the Kensington Palace social media channels on the day and launched on our partners’ channels immediately afterwards. The advert is also appearing across on-demand TV, with a supporting campaign across digital screens in train stations, roadside displays, on social media and in print.
Support the campaign by following @OurFrontlineUK on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
