The Royal Foundation’s Homewards programme is partnering with London Tech Week to bring homelessness prevention into one of the UK’s leading conversations about data, technology and innovation.
London Tech Week begins on Monday 8th June, bringing together businesses, leaders and organisations shaping the future of technology. Through this partnership Homewards will show how the tools already being used across businesses can also support earlier action to prevent homelessness and help risks be identified sooner and responses to happen before crisis point.
Across the week, Homewards will take part in panel discussions with businesses, technology leaders and partners from across the homelessness sector, alongside a pitch session showcasing projects being developed in Homewards locations.
Homewards will also host a stand at London Tech Week, featuring demonstrations of projects currently being piloted with partners. These reflect growing learning about how data, digital tools and cross‑sector collaboration can support more effective prevention.
This work builds on Homewards’ evidence‑led approach, grounded in the understanding that homelessness is often predictable and, with the right partnerships in place, can be prevented. Businesses have an important role to play alongside local leaders, services and communities in helping systems to act earlier and work better.
The partnership reflects Homewards’ long‑standing commitment to working across sectors to test new approaches, share learning and support long‑term systems change so that fewer people experience homelessness in the first place.
